A gantry or double-column machining centre is a large-format milling platform where the spindle moves on a bridge supported by two columns over a stationary worktable — engineered for very large workpieces, large moulds, and high-mass components. The Stallion SM Series uses oversized columns, beams and reinforced box structures with a nitrogen-hydraulic Z-axis counterweight and roller linear guideways. Eight models span X-axis travels from 1,600 mm to 8,200 mm with table loads up to 35,000 kg.
