A RAM-type vertical turning centre uses a vertical ram structure carrying the tool spindle, delivering exceptional rigidity for deep internal turning and heavy-cut operations on large workpieces. The Stallion SR Series combines a closed-box ram, integrally cast bed and column, JIS Class 1 helical drive gears, and a CF-axis with 15-arcsec indexing — available in ATC and ATC+C (C-axis turn-mill) variants. Five sizes from Ø1000 to Ø2500 table diameter, max workpiece weight 15,000 kg.
